FAQs
Here are the answers to some of the most common questions we hear from our appreciated customers.
New Product
Adding a new product in DistriQube is a straightforward process, accessible through both the web interface and our mobile application for your convenience. However, before diving into product addition, there are a few prerequisites to address. Firstly, you'll need to establish categories and locations within your inventory framework. This initial setup is a one-time exercise, although you have the flexibility to expand your categories and locations as needed.
Our inventory management revolves around grouping products based on their assigned categories and locations, ensuring streamlined organization and efficient tracking. Every product is equipped with a barcode for seamless identification and retrieval.
Additionally, we offer the flexibility to assign batch numbers to your inventory, enabling precise stock management at the batch level. Our data structure operates across three levels: the base product, variants, and inventory. If your product lacks variants, simply indicate so during the addition process, and you'll be prompted to input other relevant fields. For those unfamiliar with variants, detailed explanations can be found in our dedicated help section.
Variants allow you to define different attributes for a single product, offering versatility in your inventory management. Each variant can be associated with one or more inventories, each tagged with a batch number crucial for order fulfillment. Batch numbers can be alphanumeric, allowing for easy tracking and tracing within your operations.
Furthermore, we provide four customizable fields where you can input specific information pertinent to your organization. These fields are fully searchable, ensuring that crucial data is readily accessible whenever needed.
In essence, DistriQube's product addition process is designed to be intuitive and flexible, catering to the unique needs of your business while facilitating efficient inventory management and order fulfillment.
